What to Expect at Your First Visit at The Wellness Path

A complete walkthrough of your NeuroFoundation Assessment — from arrival to your care plan

Most people who have never been to a chiropractic office carry a mental image assembled from things they have heard — cracking, twisting, a quick pop and you are done. The first visit at The Wellness Path is nothing like that picture. It is a data-driven nervous system assessment that most patients describe as unlike anything they have experienced in any healthcare setting.

Before You Arrive

You will complete a health history intake form before your visit — either online or on paper when you arrive. This is not a standard symptoms checklist. It asks about your full health history, your stress history, your birth history if relevant, and the life context around why you are seeking care. The more detail you provide, the more meaningful the consultation that follows.

The Consultation — We Listen First

Your visit begins with a conversation. Dr. Vic will sit with you and genuinely listen to your full health story — not just the chief complaint that brought you in today, but the history of how you got here. We are looking for patterns. We are listening for the underlying nervous system picture that explains not just the symptom you came in for but the broader health context around it. This conversation typically takes fifteen to twenty minutes — because understanding you is the foundation of everything that follows.

The INSiGHT Neurological Scan

After the consultation, you will receive a full INSiGHT CLA neurological scan — the thermal scan, the surface EMG, and the heart rate variability assessment. This takes approximately ten minutes. You sit or stand comfortably while the sensors are gently placed along your spine. There is no discomfort, no radiation, no preparation required. The scans produce objective data on your autonomic nervous system function, your muscle compensation patterns, and your nervous system’s adaptability — giving us a picture of what is actually happening in your nervous system rather than just what your symptoms suggest.

The Postural and Spinal Assessment

Dr. Vic will also perform a hands-on assessment of your spinal alignment, range of motion, and the specific subluxation patterns present in your spine. This is integrated with the objective scan data to build a complete clinical picture of your nervous system from multiple assessment angles simultaneously.

Most patients tell us the NeuroFoundation Assessment is the first time they have felt like a healthcare provider was actually looking for the source of their problem rather than just categorizing their symptoms.

The Report of Findings

At a separate appointment — typically your second visit — Dr. Vic will walk you through your complete scan results and assessment findings in detail. You will see exactly where the interference is in your nervous system, what it is affecting, and what your CoreScore is. You will receive a personalized care plan built around your specific findings — not a template, not a standard protocol, but a plan designed around the actual state of your nervous system as the data shows it.

The first visit at The Wellness Path is the beginning of a different kind of healthcare relationship — one where the decisions are built on data, the progress is tracked objectively, and the goal is your nervous system functioning at its full potential rather than just your current symptom being managed. We look forward to meeting you.
